Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: March 15, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of Zivvo, operated by VaioTech Ltd. It supplements our Terms of Service and applies to all AI agents you create, configure, and deploy on the Platform. Violation of this policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

1. Prohibited Agent Behaviours

You must not create, configure, or deploy AI agents that:

Identity and Impersonation

  • Impersonate real individuals (e.g., doctors, lawyers, executives, public figures)
  • Claim to represent a company, government agency, or organisation other than your own
  • Deny being an AI when directly asked by a customer
  • Use fake employee names, badge numbers, or official identifiers
  • Claim certifications, licences, or qualifications that your business does not hold

Financial Fraud and Scams

  • Collect credit card numbers, bank details, PINs, CVV codes, or cryptocurrency keys
  • Instruct customers to transfer money, purchase gift cards, or wire funds
  • Provide personalised investment advice, stock picks, or guaranteed returns
  • Direct customers to unofficial payment pages or phishing sites
  • Run advance-fee fraud, lottery scams, or Ponzi scheme communications

Data Harvesting

  • Collect Social Security Numbers, passport numbers, or government IDs
  • Harvest login credentials, passwords, or security question answers
  • Collect biometric data or medical record numbers
  • Extract personal data from customers beyond what is necessary for the stated service

Manipulation and Coercion

  • Use false urgency ("Act now or lose your account")
  • Use fear tactics ("Your account has been compromised", "You will face legal action")
  • Claim false authority ("This is your bank's fraud department")
  • Emotionally manipulate customers to extract information or push sales

Regulated Advice

  • Provide medical diagnoses, treatment plans, or medication recommendations
  • Offer legal opinions or interpret laws/contracts for specific situations
  • Give personalised tax advice or insurance coverage interpretations
  • Diagnose mental health conditions

Note: Agents in regulated industries may share general information from their documents (e.g., "Our clinic is open 9-5") but must not provide personalised professional advice.

Harmful Content

  • Generate content related to illegal drugs, weapons, explosives, or human trafficking
  • Produce child exploitation material or content that sexualises minors
  • Create harassment, stalking, doxxing, or threat content
  • Generate self-harm or suicide encouragement content
  • Produce discriminatory content based on protected characteristics

Spam and Unsolicited Communication

  • Send bulk unsolicited messages via email, WhatsApp, SMS, or social media
  • Ignore unsubscribe or "stop" requests from recipients
  • Disguise commercial messages as personal communications
  • Violate CAN-SPAM, GDPR, PECR, or other applicable communication regulations

Political Interference

  • Provide voting instructions or polling location information
  • Create political campaign content or endorse candidates
  • Discourage individuals from voting
  • Generate misleading political content or deepfakes

2. Document Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that all content uploaded to your agent's documents:

  • Is accurate and not intentionally misleading
  • Does not contain content designed to circumvent the Platform's safety guardrails
  • Does not include personal data of individuals without their consent
  • Does not infringe on intellectual property rights of third parties
  • Is appropriate for the industry you selected during registration

3. Voice Agent Specific Rules

If you deploy voice-enabled AI agents, you must additionally:

  • Disclose at the start of every call that the caller is speaking with an AI assistant
  • Not use voice agents to impersonate specific real people
  • Comply with all applicable call recording and consent laws in your jurisdiction
  • Not use voice agents for robocalling, telemarketing fraud, or spam calls
  • Provide a clear path for callers to reach a human representative

4. Industry-Specific Requirements

If your business operates in a regulated industry, additional obligations apply:

  • Healthcare: Agents must recommend consulting healthcare professionals for personal health matters and never provide diagnoses or treatment plans
  • Finance/Insurance: Agents must include appropriate disclaimers when discussing financial products and never provide personalised financial advice
  • Legal: Agents must state that information is general in nature and recommend consulting licensed attorneys for specific legal matters
  • Real Estate: Agents must comply with fair housing laws and never discriminate based on protected characteristics
  • Recruitment: Agents must not discriminate against candidates based on protected characteristics

5. Enforcement

We take violations of this policy seriously. Our enforcement actions include:

  • Warning: First-time minor violations will receive a warning with instructions to remedy the issue
  • Agent suspension: Agents that violate this policy may be deactivated immediately
  • Account suspension: Repeated or serious violations will result in account suspension
  • Account termination: Severe violations (fraud, impersonation, harmful content) result in immediate and permanent account termination
  • Legal action: We reserve the right to report illegal activities to law enforcement

6. Automated Safety Measures

Zivvo employs automated safety guardrails that are injected into every agent's behaviour. These guardrails cannot be overridden by agent configuration and are designed to prevent the most harmful categories of misuse. Attempting to circumvent these guardrails through prompt engineering, document manipulation, or other means is a violation of this policy.

7. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of an agent on our Platform that violates this policy, please report it to [email protected]. We investigate all reports and take appropriate action.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
